Valentine's Day Lovely Words Picture Frames

I’m a bit surprised and a teeny bit proud of myself for creating these various crafts for Valentine’s Day without spending a cent.  Almost makes me want to go out and buy Valentine’s Clearance on the 15th

So today I came up with decorating these blah wooden frames that were in our candle/craft closet, most likely a potential project from years past that never came to fruition.

From a plain ol’ wooden frame…

to this:

This one was decorated with craft paint, washi tape, and those tissue paper flowers I am hearting right now.  The quote is from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Nights Dream:

Love looks not with the eyes,

but with the mind,

And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind

This one again used craft paint with felt circles and one felt heart.  The verse is from Song of Solomon.  Chapter 2 Verse 16.

My lover is mine,

and I am his.
